Science is for everyone.

TÈMAK is committed to ensuring that our digital presence is accessible to all people, regardless of ability or the assistive technology they use. We believe that the science of the cellular world — and the rituals it inspires — should be available to everyone. Accessibility is not a feature; it is part of our architecture.
We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at Level AA. These guidelines, developed by the World Wide Web Consortium (W3C), define how to make web content more accessible to people with disabilities, including those affecting vision, hearing, mobility, and cognition. We evaluate our pages against these criteria on an ongoing basis.
We are actively working to improve the mobile experience across all TÈMAK pages, including touch target sizing, zoom behaviour, and responsive layout for assistive technologies. Some older pages in the ecosystem may not yet fully meet WCAG 2.1 AA standards — these are identified and being addressed as part of our continuous improvement process.
We welcome feedback on the accessibility of our site. If you encounter any barriers or have suggestions for improvement, please contact us at accessibility@temak.co.za. We are committed to responding to all accessibility feedback and resolving issues promptly.
If you require any content on our site in an alternative format — including larger print, plain text, or audio descriptions — please contact us directly and we will do our best to accommodate your needs. We are committed to ensuring no one is excluded from the TÈMAK ecosystem due to digital barriers.
